What we do charge for is text messaging, sending emails, and website hosting (although you can host your website on your own for free). We only charge for these because these things cost us money. You buy credits for text messaging and emails, and we charge a very low annual cost for hosting.
The goal of Congregation Hub is not to make money but to be a blessing to churches. It was created and maintained by one developer who has been the pastor of a smaller church in the Midwest for the last 15 years. It was designed from the ground up to be a blessing to churches and not a big part of their budget.
