Introducing Our Board of Directors

Introducing the Congregation Hub Board

Congregation Hub is not like other church management tools. We operate as a non-profit — not to make money, but to provide free tools that advance the Kingdom of God. That mission shapes every decision we make, including how we govern the organization.

As a legal entity, a non-profit requires a board of directors. I could have filled those seats with family members and moved on. Instead, I saw an opportunity to do something better: build a board of like-minded pastors who could bring real insight, honest accountability, and a shared passion for our mission. The four of us bring a mix of pastoral experience and technical background that I believe will serve this project well for years to come.

nathan.jpg## Nathan Stahlman

Nathan serves as pastor of Harvest Baptist Church in Villa Ridge, Missouri, a role he stepped into just over a year ago. He grew up as the son of a missionary and pastor, his wife's parents are missionaries as well, and that heritage shows — he has a deep and genuine heart for the Great Commission.

Nathan completed an apprenticeship at Bible Baptist Church, and we had the privilege of ordaining him before he headed to Villa Ridge. Beyond his ministry work, Nathan is a skilled software developer who has worked alongside me both at Rural King and at my previous company, Build Online. He brings a rare combination of pastoral wisdom and technical ability to the board.

Adam has served as our associate pastor and youth pastor at Bible Baptist Church for more than a decade. In that time he's been one of the most faithful people in our ministry — a trusted friend and an invaluable source of administrative help for the church. Like me, Adam is a graduate of Crown College in Powell, Tennessee. He probably uses Congregation Hub more than anyone else, which makes his perspective on the product especially grounded and practical.

Estevan pastors Rio Grande Baptist Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico — the very church where he was reached and raised. Before returning home to Albuquerque, he planted a church in Taos, New Mexico, so he knows firsthand what it looks like to build something from nothing.

Like me, Estevan has spent decades dabbling in programming and entrepreneurship. He loves to make things, and it shows. He's a never-ending source of creative ideas for the app, and his church-planting background keeps those ideas rooted in real ministry needs.

I've served as pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Mattoon, Illinois since 2011. Before that, I served as children's pastor and camp director at Fairview Baptist Church in Athens, Tennessee, and on staff at a church in Londonderry, New Hampshire.

I started learning to code in college, dabbled in it for years, and eventually began freelancing as a developer. I co-founded Build Online before leaving in 2023, and I currently work as a developer for Rural King, which is headquartered just a few miles from my home and church. Congregation Hub grew out of my own frustration with the tools available to small churches — and my conviction that we could build something better, freely, for the glory of God.

We're grateful for this team. If you have questions, feedback, or just want to connect with any of us, we'd love to hear from you.
